The Reigning Prince , pursuant
to his prerogatives as Head of State, has the
authority to bestow
titles, orders and decorations. The titles of nobility have the simple predicate of
nobility "von" (of) and the titles of "Baron" and "Count". However, the
granting of noble titles is very rare. To honor a person who has rendered a great service
to the Princely House or the country, Princely titles may be bestowed, such as Princely Councillor,
Princely Court Councillor, Princely Justice Councillor, Princely Commerce Councillor, Princely Education
Councillor, Princely Spiritual Councillor, etc. Prince Franz I founded an Order of Merit
