Since 1 January 2008, the Liechtenstein Cultural Foundation has
served as an autonomous foundation under public law. Pursuant to the Cultural Promotion Act, it is responsible
for State promotion of cultural activities by private persons and institutions in the fields of literature,
music, performing and visual arts, audiovisual media, and cultivation of heritage and traditions.
The purpose of the foundation also includes cultural projects and
events, collection of and access to cultural works, operation of cultural institutions, and cooperation
with third parties.
