Slope forests characterize the transition area from valley to mountain.
Deer, foxes, and badgers live here, from the valley to high up on the slope. In these mid-range altitudes,
you can hear the black woodpecker and even the rare white-backed woodpecker, and owls still nest. Where
there are forests close to nature with a lot of dead wood, for example in the Schlosswald above Vaduz,
the stag beetle, our largest longhorn beetle, can develop, and even the rare European longhorn beetle
can be found. |
 Foxes,
deer, and badgers live in the valley and also in higher regions
