regulate issues concerning relations between employers, employees, and apprentices in a uniform manner

promote the export trade
The LCCI contributes
actively to the developing and maintaining of attractive economic conditions and to sustaining the competitiveness

Unlike many other countries, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry does not maintain a register
of companies. The Office of Land and Public Registration

The Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is an
association under private law with voluntary membership. It is headquartered in Vaduz, and was founded
in 1947
as the Liechtenstein Chamber of Industry, but renamed in 1980 as the Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce
and Industry. The highest organ is the General Assembly, which meets twice a year. The Board consists
of ten representatives from member companies. The Business Office has experts from member companies
at its disposal
as specialist groups, working groups, and project groups. The
LCCI represents 42 Liechtenstein companies. The large industrial companies, the three large banks, and
various service companies are represented as members in the association. Almost 55% of the members
have more than 50 employees. Many LCCI industrial companies operate in very specialized market niches;
some of them are among the leaders worldwide in their sectors. The member banks work internationally
in private banking and regionally, they are engaged in commercial banking. |
