Embassy of the Principality of Liechtenstein in Washington

______________________________________________

The Embassy of the Principality of Liechtenstein in Washington welcomes applications for internships throughout the year. Internships are generally coordinated with the US university semester schedule and are offered in the Fall (September-December), Winter/Spring (January-May) and Summer (May-August).

Internships are unpaid and part-time (at least 25 hours/week). Internship hours can be customized with the academic schedule of the chosen candidate. Full-time internships are also offered depending on a candidate’s availability.

Duties include research analysis, composition of memos and reports, attendance of various congressional hearings and think tank functions, event management and a range of administrative tasks. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of German is preferred. Candidates must have excellent writing and communications skills along with a relevant academic background in international relations.

Must be motivated, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and be able to multi-task. The internship is a great opportunity for college students and graduates seeking experience in foreign affairs. Interns work directly with the Ambassador and are fully integrated into the every-day tasks and workings of the Embassy.
