The Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein is leading a European-wide project on further education in process management. The researchers are collaborating with partners from four countries to develop an international concept.
The project, which is called Business Process Management (BPM) Online, is scheduled for two years and it is sponsored by the EUs Erasmus+ programme. The Hilti Chair of Business Process Management team led by Prof. Dr. Jan vom Brocke is acting as the applicant and leading project partner. Also involved are the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, Münster University in Germany, the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria. Dr. Theresa Schmiedel from the University of Liechstenstein is managing the project.
A workshop held by the Wiener Partner launched the project, according to a press release. Project manager Schmiedel commented: We are particularly proud of the fact that from the beginning of the project, we can discuss with an industry partner how to implement the concept for further education on a European-wide level.
