Liechtenstein’s financial centre is affected by technological and social developments. Well-renowned experts such as Sergio P. Ermotti and Friedrich Merz will explore the associated opportunities and risks at the third Finance Forum.
Liechtenstein’s financial centre is being confronted with significant challenges. How these can be overcome will be discussed on 9 March 2017 at the third Finance Forum Liechtenstein. Launched by Prime Minister Adrian Hasler, this year’s dialogue platform is called Future financial centre: New challenges – New business opportunities.
Well-renowned financial specialists from Liechtenstein and abroad will take a look at the future of the industry. Sergio P. Ermotti, Group CEO of UBS, will talk about the changes taking place in the international financial industry. Friedrich Merz, one of Germany’s top-ranked politicians and currently a member of the supervisory board of BlackRock Germany, will look at the political challenges facing the industry. The Swiss writer and entrepreneur Rolf Dobelli will speak on misunderstandings and mistakes made in investment decisions.
A panel discussion on the future of the financial centres in Switzerland and Liechtenstein will be moderated by the Swiss television journalist Reto Lipp. VP Bank CEO Alfred W. Moeckli, co-owner of First Advisory Group Angelika Moosleithner, and Professor of Finance at the University of St.Gallen Manual Ammann will be on the panel.
