Financial services providers from Liechtenstein have agreed on an initiative to position the Liechtenstein financial centre. There will be an evening function to present the financial centre on 24th November in Munich.
The private initiative under the motto Redefining Financial Values is designed to make a wider audience aware of the changes taking place in the Liechtenstein financial centre, as well as its positioning. Among the speakers confirmed for the evening in Munich are current Prime Minister Adrian Hasler, HSH Prince Stefan of Liechtenstein, and Prof. Dr. Martin Wenz from the University of Liechtenstein. Also scheduled to participate in a podium discussion are Honorary Consul Dr. Christian Waigel and Dr. Alexander Linn, reports newspaper Liechtensteiner Vaterland.
The initiative describes itself as independent, according to the newspaper. The government and different economic associations have agreed upon it. Among the initiators are representatives from different aspects of the financial centre: Mandorit as a family office and trust company; the IMT Group as financial advisors and asset managers; LGT as a bank and investment services provider; and the 1291 Group as an insurance structures provider. Meanwhile, the university makes up the scientific aspect of the financial centre. According to the report, there is still room for further partners.
