Ivoclar Vivadent has announced that Robert Ganley, who has led the company since 2003, was appointed to the Supervisory Board in June 2018. Christina Zeller, who also joined the board in June, will represent the interests of the company’s founding family.
Ganley will be succeeded by Diego Gabathuler, Head of Sales EMEA & Latin America. A marketing and sales expert from Buchs in the canton of St.Gallen, Gabathuler held a number of leadership and management roles with Logitech, Activision and Electronic Arts prior to joining Ivoclar Vivadent.
The Liechtenstein dental company will see other leadership changes next year when long-time CEO and chairman Christoph Zeller steps down as chairman of the board in June 2019.
“We have many talented and dynamic employees in our company, and we are empowering them to provide a fresh view and continue the success of the story of Ivoclar Vivadent,” Zeller said.
Zeller will be succeeded by Helmut Schuster, an Austrian-British businessman who has been a member of Ivoclar Vivadent’s board since January 2015. An economist by training, Schuster was an executive in the energy industry among other activities.
