LGT impressed the testers of this year’s prestigious Fuchsbriefe. The bank was awarded second place standing among more than 80 financial institutions, with LGT maintaining its title as the best private bank in Liechtenstein in 2016.
LGT was awarded a “very good” rating at the Private Banking Summit in Berlin. This outstanding result put the bank in second place overall from among all the banks that were tested. With more than 80 financial institutions evaluated, LGT is one of the leading wealth managers in the German-speaking world.
"LGT has without a doubt delivered a first class performance. The bank is therefore one of the absolute leaders among its competitors – its high level and balanced performance across all four categories is impressive,” commented one of the testers in an LGT statement.
This year, advisory services, quality of the investment strategy, portfolio quality and transparency of wealth managers were evaluated. In addition to a “solid portfolio”, LGT particularly impressed the testers with its highly client-focused investment recommendations. “Competitors have to go to great lengths to achieve a similar level of precision in their recommendations,” added the testers. Liechtenstein remains the best private bank in Liechtenstein. On the “all-time best list” of top wealth managers, LGT moved up one place and now holds a sixth place ranking, according to the statement. LGT Bank Österreich also received accolades. The testers paid the bank a visit, ranking its advisory services in the top three.
