At the Global Private Banking Awards, LGT was again awarded two prizes. For the third time, the bank was named Best Private Bank for Alternatives, the LGT Group writes in a press release. In the category for Impact and Sustainable Investing, LGT was designated as being highly commended.
“We were once again able to assert our position in the alternative investments category vis-à-vis the distinguished competition, and received high praise for our efforts in Impact and Sustainable Investing”, comments Thomas Piske, CEO of LGT Private Banking, in the press release, before adding: “We continue to see growing investor interest in alternative investments, impact investments and sustainable investing”.
According to the press release, the jury was particularly impressed with the LGT Group’s long-term commitment to sustainable investments. “While many competitors are only just starting to turn to this asset class, LGT has been investing in it for many years”, explains jury member Yuri Bender in the press release. He adds: “LGT is well positioned to meet the increasing demand from wealthy families for alternative investments”. Bender is Editor-in-Chief of “Professional Wealth Management”, which has been handing out the awards for a decade now in conjunction with “The Banker”. Both publications belong to the Financial Times Group.
