Resulting from a joint initiative of the financial centre’s different sectors and Liechtenstein Marketing, the Liechtenstein financial centre has presented itself in Vienna. The event, which was entitled “New opportunities characterised by international networking”, was fully booked, according to a government statement. Participants were able to learn about the financial centre and broaden their networks.
The audience of 150 guests was welcomed by I.D. Princess Maria-Pia Kothbauer von und zu Liechtenstein, ambassador in Vienna. Ewald Nowotny, governor of the Austrian National Bank, gave a talk about current perspectives on European monetary and financial policies. Meanwhile, S.D. Prince Michael von und zu Liechtenstein presented the financial centre as modern and well networked, also highlighting its stability and reliability.
The event also saw Prime Minister Adrian Hasler give an interview. “I believe that the Liechtenstein financial centre offers clients and service providers great opportunities and decisive competitive advantages. I am sure that, by this evening, we will be able to make these factors more clear to the numerous participants,” he said.
