According to the latest figures from the Office for Statistics, Liechtenstein exported goods with a total value of 918 million Swiss francs in the third quarter of 2018. This corresponds to an increase of 12.1 per cent on the same quarter of the previous year. Conversely, imported goods amounted to 470 million francs and were therefore down 11.4 per cent year on year.
The greatest share of exports (504 million francs) was once again accounted for by Europe and Asia ranked second, receiving goods with a total value of 236 million francs – almost twice the previous year’s figure. Number three in the rankings is North and South America, with 162 million francs.
These figures do not include goods exported into Switzerland and imports from Switzerland.
