The LIFE Climate Foundation Liechtenstein and the Climate Ledger Initiative (CLI) are hosting this event on the occasion of the UN Climate Change Conference in Bonn, as was reported in a press release. Research is currently taking place into how blockchain technology can be used to the benefit of climate protection. Two of the organisations involved in pursuing this aim are the CLI and Hack4Climate.
The founders of these initiatives will also be among the speakers at the event on Wednesday. Sven Braden of the LIFE Climate Foundation Liechtenstein and Nick Beglinger from Cleantech21 will give presentations, as will Jürg Füssler from the research and consulting company Infras. Following a brief introduction from Heike Summer of Liechtenstein’s Office for the Environment, Laurence Mortier from the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment will also say a few words.
