Liechtenstein’s fifth appearance at OLMA, the Swiss trade fair for agriculture and nutrition, was a success. Around 100,000 visitors viewed the special exhibition and the animal pen, announced the Liechtenstein government in a statement. On the guest of honour’s day on 15th October, more than 1,000 people from Liechtenstein participated in the parade and arena programme.
The goals of Liechtenstein’s OLMA appearance were fulfilled, wrote the government. The principality was able to portray itself as a “likeable, reliable partner and an attractive economic and residential location.” Numerous reports in the media were testament to this.
The government has acknowledged the OLMA final report from Liechtenstein Marketing and dissolved the steering committee. The members did “excellent work”, according to the statement. Government minister Marlies Amann-Marxer commented that the fact the project could be closed within the defined budget was particularly pleasing.
