Liechtenstein is in a strong economic situation. Unemployment is very low, and Liechtenstein has the highest per capita income in Europe. “We have created a very solid foundation for the future,” said Prince Hans-Adam II, when summarising Liechtenstein’s situation in a New Year’s interview with Radio L.
Among other things, he sees good opportunities for Liechtenstein’s financial centre. Given the political uncertainty abroad, Liechtenstein is likely to become more and more interesting for investors thanks to its stable conditions, said Prince Hans-Adam II. These same stable domestic conditions are also what helped Liechtenstein’s banks overcome the financial crisis – and even record inflows despite ending banking secrecy.
