On 15 November, 367 bachelor’s students, 286 master’s students and 24 doctoral students were registered at the University of Liechtenstein, announced a statement. This marks an increase in students for the fourth year running. Reaching a new record high that beats even last year, the number of students increased particularly for bachelor’s programmes, with 31 more students than in 2017.
“This shows that we offer attractive and relevant courses for students in the region,” commented Professor Peter Staub, Rector ad interim. “That we have been able to succeed in a particularly challenging university climate attests to our dedicated work.”
Staub also highlighted the increasing competition among education institutes in the region. “This means that the University of Liechtenstein must continue developing to maintain a competitive position in the long-term,” he said.
