The Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Liechtenstein is strengthening its focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. The aim is to find direct solutions for the challenges faced by the economic centre of Liechtenstein.
The Institute for Entrepreneurship is now under the direction of Professor Sascha Kraus, holder of the chair of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. According to the current ranking from the German business magazine Handelsblatt, he is among the top research scientists in his field. Focusing on the key themes of entrepreneurship and innovation, the institute plans to look more intensively at the economic centre of Liechtenstein. This is in keeping with the institutes original aim of promoting entrepreneurial thinking and trading, and facilitates its further development in terms of the innovative capacities of people, businesses and regions.
According to Sascha Kraus, business models must develop further while being continuously questioned. He added that this applied both to the country and to the institute. The realignment focuses on the fields of knowledge and technology transfer, research and further education.
