The new Liechtenstein foundation Zukunft.li plans to work intensively on three key areas over the coming months, one of which is growth and immigration.
The new foundation Zukunft.li (which in English means 'future') presented its upcoming activities at an event, reports the Vaterland. First, it will deal with the issue of growth and immigration in a two-part strategic project. Second, the foundation will collaborate with the Swiss think tank Avenir Suisse to examine how to organize and finance nursing care. Third, it will develop a project focusing on Liechtenstein financial adjustment system. The priorities were outlined by the foundations chairperson Thomas Lorenz.
According to the article, the foundation chose to address the most urgent challenges currently facing the country in order to be able to commit to a programme. It held discussions and also collaborated with the Liechtenstein-Institut which conducted a survey, to identify these focus areas.
The Zukunft.li foundation was founded in October 2014 and began operations in June 2015. Five donors are supporting the foundation to promote the sustainable development of Liechtenstein. These are Jürgen Hilti (Toni Hilti Familientreuhänderschaft), Princely Justice Councillor Dr. Peter Marxer, Michael Hilti (Hilti Family Foundation), Heiner Hilti and Dr. Wilhelm Klagian (Morscher Family Foundation).
