Ivoclar Vivadent CEO receives award

Robert Ganley has received an award from the American College of Prosthodontists. The CEO of the Liechtenstein dental company was recognized for his service to the dental industry.

The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of prosthodontists, laboratory technicians and students. It has now recognized Ivoclar Vivadent CEO Robert Ganley for his service to the dental industry with an award. “Robert Ganley is truly a visionary who transformed the dental technology landscape by innovating disruptive processes, technologies and products that altered the profession,” said Leonard Kobren, chair of the ACP's Education Foundation, in his comments at the ACP's annual session in Chicago. Ganley, who will step down as CEO in a few months to join Ivoclar Vivadent's supervisory board, has not only led the charge for quality, aesthetic dentistry, but is also committed to “supporting education and improving access to oral healthcare for underserved populations”. Among many other things, he initiated the Wisdom Tooth Project in the U.S., according to an Ivoclar Vivadent statement announcing the award. Ivoclar Vivadent is a global leader in innovative materials and processes for quality, aesthetic dentistry. Headquartered in Schaan, the company employs 3,600 people in over 120 countries.
