Hilcona wins Bestseller award

Schaan – The ravioli with ricotta di bufala e spinaci produced by Hilcona, a company based in Schaan in Liechtenstein, has won a Bestseller award. It is conferred annually for successful new products by the Rundschau für den Lebensmittelhandel. Hilcona’s product triumphed in the group of chilled manufactured products.
Every year the specialist magazine Rundschau für den Lebensmittelhandel awards the most successful new products in German food retail. This year, one of the Bestseller awards from this went to Hilcona AG from Schaan. The ravioli filled with ricotta di bufala e spinaci won the contest for the group of chilled manufactured products. The corresponding section on the Rundschau für den Lebensmittelhandel portal stated: “Here, the both the taste and the figures made this a winner”.
Hilcona AG explains in a press release that the award represents a particularly special recognition as companies cannot apply for the prize themselves. The sales figures from German food retail are decisive for the placement of newly introduced products. Hilcona writes that the jury above all commended the new interpretation of a classic product for the ravioli with ricotta di bufala e spinaci. Sascha Leiser, Sales Manager Retail Germany, and Barbara Held, International Marketing Manager, are quoted in the press release, saying: “Only those who perform well here have a chance of receiving the Bestseller award for food retail.”
