LBA strengthens Executive Board with the appointment of Stephanie Wickihalder

The Liechtenstein Bankers Association (LBA) has appointed Stephanie Wickihalder as Deputy Managing Director. Formerly of Credit Suisse, Wickihalder will be responsible in particular for overseeing topics related to digitalization and increased collaborations with fintechs at the LBA.
Stephanie Wickihalder has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director of the Liechtenstein Bankers Association (LBA) with effect from December 1. In this role, she will form the Executive Board together with CEO Simon Tribelhorn. According to a press release, topics linked to digitalization and increased collaborations with fintechs will fall under her remit in particular.
“With Stephanie Wickihalder, we are gaining an extremely knowledgeable expert in the banking business, a well-connected personality and digital expert for the Bankers Association”, Tribelhorn states, before adding: “I am very much looking forward to working with her and the expertise she will bring to us”.
Wickihalder boasts more than 20 years of experience at major banks, having previously worked at Credit Suisse in Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Digitalization. Moreover, she is President of Swiss FinTech Innovations (SFTI) and will continue to hold this position on a part-time basis. Wickihalder also holds several mandates in the fintech space and is a guest lecturer at the University of Zurich (UZH) and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration (HWZ).
