Researcher from Liechtenstein receives award for paper

The Association for Information Systems has awarded a paper by Stefan Seidel, Chair of Information Systems and Innovation at the University of Liechtenstein. He wrote the paper in question with two colleagues from the USA.

The University of Liechtenstein explains in a press release that the Association for Information Systems (AIS) selects up to five papers on subjects relating to information systems every year to receive an award. This year, Stefan Seidel, Chair of Information Systems and Innovation at the University of Liechtenstein, was considered. Together with Nicholas Berente from the American University of Notre Dame and Hani Safadi from the University of Georgia, Seidel wrote the paper “Data-Driven Computationally Intensive Theory Development”. It received an AIS Best Information Systems Publications Award from the AIS. According to the press release, in the paper that has been awarded Seidel and his American colleagues develop “methodological bases for developing new theories using computer-aided methods based on digital data streams”. Another paper by Seidel received an AIS Best Information Systems Publications Award last year.
