Construction of LLB office building has started

In the center of Vaduz, work has started on the new office building for the Liechtensteiner Landesbank (LLB). It will provide space for 260 employees and is expected to be ready for use in summer 2025. HRS is the sole contractor.
Construction work is now well underway on the new office building for LLB in the center of Vaduz called Campus Giessen. According to a press release, demolition of the old building started on schedule in January 2023. The information provided states that the preparatory work for the new building is now “in full swing”. The new building will be located on the former site of the Federal Office of Justice. The sole contractor is the real estate service provider HRS based in the Swiss canton of Thurgau.
Various LLB departments will be brought together at Campus Giessen. The office building will comprise five floors where the aim, according to a previous press release, is to create “an interaction between spatial transparency and plasticity”. The press release states that HRS is aiming for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold label from the internationally accepted certification system for green construction with this build. Additionally, the build is also expected to meet the Minergie standard P ECO. Completion is expected to take place in late summer 2025.
