The University of Liechtenstein has updated its internationally focused, CFA-oriented Master’s course in Finance and renamed it Innovative Finance. The curriculum has been brought up to date with the latest financial innovations and two specialist training branches have been added, according to a press release.
These branches are the Industry Track, which focuses on professional requirements in the financial sector, and the Research Track, which qualifies students for a career in research and development. Future students in both tracks will be optimally prepared for the challenges and opportunities in the rapidly changing world of finance, explains the press release. Working professionals will also have an opportunity to study for the Master’s course on a part-time basis. “This flexible approach is a response to the needs of the financial center,” says program manager Patrick Krause. It demonstrates that the University of Liechtenstein is an expert provider of high-quality educational opportunities for a broad target group.
Dr. Martin Angerer, Director of Studies of the program, emphasizes the value of personal development and practical skills: “In addition to professional training, we place great emphasis on the personal development of our students and prepare them practically for dealing with new forms of communication,” he says.
