Food company Hilcona has planted vegetation on the flat roof of its first new building in Schaan. The 1,200 sqm meadow offers protection against heavy rain and overheating. The other new buildings will also be planted with living roofs.

The business volume of the LLB Group exceeded 100 billion Swiss francs for the first time in the first half of 2021. VP Bank has launched a platform for private market investments. The Vaduz-based banking group will make its own services in addition to those from third parties available via the platform. There is no requirement for users to have a custody account with VP Bank in order to use the ORBIT ecosystem.

Hilti has welcomed a total of 18 new apprentices at the start of the educational year. Two are taking Way-up Apprenticeships as design engineers at the Liechtenstein-based tool manufacturer. Third-year apprentices at Hilti are currently gaining experience at a junior enterprise.
