Spain removes Liechtenstein from the blacklist
Spain had been one of the final EU member states to still blacklist Liechtenstein. Following the publication of an updated list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions, Liechtenstein has now been removed from this list. The revised list took effect on February 11, 2023.

Hilti and IMD launch scholarship program
Hilti and the International Institute of Management Development (IMD) are setting up a joint scholarship program for the latter’s Master of Business Administration course. To this end, the Liechtenstein-based tool manufacturer and the Hilti Family Foundation Liechtenstein are committing a total of 3 million Swiss francs.

IBH set to become independent
The International Lake Constance University is to operate under a new legal form. Population takes positive view of digitalization in Liechtenstein
The population of Liechtenstein takes a fundamentally positive view of the digital status of the principality. According to a survey carried out by the Liechtenstein-Institut, respondents identified room for improvement in terms of digitizing state administration processes and want greater protection against the threat of cyber-attacks.
